This Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Policy sets out our approach to identifying, preventing, and reporting suspicious activity in compliance with the AML/CFT Laws of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan and directives issued by Anjouan Licensing Services Inc.

Flush acknowledges that its products and services may be targeted by individuals seeking to launder criminal proceeds or facilitate terrorist financing. As such, we maintain a strong compliance culture and implement robust controls to detect and prevent illicit activity.

  1. Definitions

Money Laundering refers to the process of concealing the true origin and ownership of criminal proceeds to avoid prosecution and confiscation. Money laundering shall be regarded as such even when the activities which generated the proceeds were carried out in another jurisdiction. This includes:

  • The conversion or transfer of property, knowing that such property is derived from criminal activity, for the purpose of concealing its illegal origin
  • The concealment or disguise of the true nature, source, location, disposition, movement, or ownership of property derived from criminal activity
  • The acquisition, possession, or use of property, knowing at the time of receipt that it was derived from criminal activity
  • Participation in, association with, attempts to commit, and aiding, abetting, or facilitating any of the above actions

Terrorist Financing refers to providing, collecting, or moving funds with the intention of using them to carry out terrorist acts or support terrorist organizations.

Suspicious Activity refers to transactions or behavior that may indicate fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, or other illegal activities by users or third parties.

Sanctions refer to measures imposed by governments or international bodies to restrict activities of targeted individuals, entities, or nations involved in illegal activities or threats to international security.

Politically Exposed Person (PEP) refers to an individual who holds or has held a prominent public position, as well as their immediate family members and close associates.

  1. Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD)

Flush applies risk-based Customer Due Diligence to verify the identity of its customers. Flush does not permit corporate entities or non-natural persons to register. Only individual users may create accounts.

CDD is required when:

  • Cumulative deposits reach $10,000 USD (or equivalent)

During the verification process, customers must provide:

  • Full legal name
  • Date of birth

  • Government-issued photo identification
  • Proof of address (utility bill or bank statement dated within 3 months)

All documents must be in English or accompanied by a certified translation.

Enhanced Due Diligence is applied to higher-risk customers, including:

  • Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and their family members or associates
  • Players from high-risk jurisdictions as identified by FATF
  • Complex or unusually large transactions with no apparent economic purpose

EDD may require additional documentation such as proof of source of funds (payslips, bank statements) and proof of source of wealth (tax returns, company financials).

  1. Crypto-Specific Measures

As a crypto-friendly platform, Flush implements additional controls to address risks specific to digital assets:

  • Wallet address screening against sanctions databases

  • Monitoring for deposits originating from high-risk or restricted exchanges

Accounts flagged for suspicious crypto activity may be suspended pending further review.

  1. Transaction Monitoring

Flush monitors customer transactions for unusual patterns, including:

  • Frequent deposits just below reporting thresholds
  • Rapid movement of funds with minimal gaming activity
  • Transactions involving high-risk jurisdictions

Flush also implements procedures for ban evasion detection, duplicate account monitoring, and multiple account detection to prevent misuse of the platform. Users are prohibited from operating more than one account.

Where suspicious activity is identified, accounts may be suspended and additional information requested.

  1. Sanctions and PEP Screening

All customers are screened against:

  • Global sanctions lists
  • Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) databases
  • Adverse media sources

Customers identified on sanctions lists will have their accounts closed and reported to relevant authorities. PEPs are subject to enhanced monitoring and source of wealth verification.
