I Sent Crypto to the Wrong Address

What to do if you sent a deposit to the wrong address or wrong network at Flush. When recovery is possible and what to do immediately.

Sending to the wrong address is one of the most stressful crypto mistakes. The outcome depends on exactly what went wrong.

Wrong address entirely

If you sent funds to an address that has no connection to Flush, those funds are beyond Flush's reach. Blockchain transactions are irreversible once confirmed. The only person who could access the funds is whoever controls the destination address.

Wrong network, same currency

For example, sending USDT via ERC-20 to your Flush TRC-20 USDT address. Contact live chat immediately with your TXID, the network used, and the destination address. Recovery may be possible in some cases but is not guaranteed.

Wrong currency sent to a Flush address

For example, sending a coin that Flush does not support to one of your Flush addresses. Contact support with full transaction details. These cases are handled individually and recovery depends on the technical specifics of the networks involved.

What to do right now

Contact Flush live chat as soon as possible. Have your TXID, the network used, the currency sent, and the destination address ready. The faster the support team is aware, the better the chances of recovery.

How to prevent this in future

Copy the deposit address fresh from the Flush cashier for each transaction. Confirm the network in both your wallet and the cashier match before sending. Check the first and last four characters of the address after pasting.
